HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?

Orders received before 3.00pm will be posted that same afternoon, for convenience and track-ability we use Australia Post Express Satchels, so provided you are in their network you can expect your order the next day. Because we hand sort the kernels ourselves, there have been a few  occasions where we haven’t been able to keep up with demand, and on those occasions  your order will be posted the next day. This should still get your kernels to you within a few days of purchasing.

IT'S BEEN 2 DAYS AND MY ORDER HASN'T ARRIVED?

Pop in to your local Post Office, or give them a quick call. Nine times out of ten the order is there waiting collection. If not email me and I'll provide the tracking number. Wayward orders do happen from time to time but we are always able to sort it out quickly.

HOW DO I STORE MY KERNELS?

If you keep the kernels in the fridge in an air-tight container or snaplock bag, they will remain fresh and viable for at least 12 months. Out of the fridge, in a cool, dark cupboard they will be good for at least 6 months.

ARE THE KERNELS ORGANIC?

No they are not organic. We buy all of our apricot stones from a number of different growers in the Riverland of South Australia and NSW. Some of those growers use organic practices, although they are not certified as such. However the bulk of our growers use conventional farming techniques. In any event we have no way to differentiate between the different growers, as all the stones are combined and stored at a central depot.  We then freight them to our property in rural Victoria where we crack and process them, with the final step being the hand sorting to remove the broken kernels, bits of shell etc. All of our work is done without the use of chemicals, preservatives etc. Even the the stones themselves are air dried in the sun. We use nothing beyond our own manual labour.
